Use your credits anywhere

Usage speaks the OpenAI API, so any app, agent, editor plugin or SDK that lets you set a base URL works with your credits.

  1. Hold $USAGE and keep your payout on AI credits.
  2. Create an API key in your dashboard.
  3. Set the base URL and key in your app, then pick a model from the list below.

      

      
    


    

      
How requests are charged

      

        

          
Before the request

          
We reserve the most the request could cost: your prompt plus max_tokens of reply. If you don't set max_tokens, we set the most you can afford, up to the model's limit. If you can't cover it, you get a 402 with insufficient_credits.

        

        

          
After the request

          
You pay what the provider actually charged plus 6%, and the rest of the reservation is released. Failed requests cost nothing. Every response carries an x-usage-request-id header you can match against your dashboard.
